An update from Aileen and Niall Sloan, Lead Dentists and owners of Sloan Dental.
With the latest guidelines for dental procedures from the Chief Dental Officer during this COVID-19 outbreak and Government advice on social distancing, we have had to take the decision to cancel all treatment at Sloan Dental. The safety of our patients and staff is always, and will continue to be our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation with this decision. It is not a decision we came to lightly, but it is the responsibility of everyone to do their part in overcoming this outbreak.
We would like to thank our amazing staff who continue to work in such difficult times. We will remain open for emergency telephone triage, and our telephones will always be answered by one of our dentists from 9am until 5pm. Advice from one of our dentists will be available over the phone, and emergency referral can be arranged if deemed appropriate.
An emergency is classified as:
Severe pain,
A facial swelling, or
Trauma or uncontrolled bleeding
Please telephone the practice if you have any of the above symptoms, and a member of the team will provide advice, or where necessary arrange an emergency appointment. Please do not attend the practice.
Once again, we would like to express our thanks to all our patients for their understanding, and to our amazing staff – thank you so so much.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family back to our family here at Sloan Dental
Aileen and Niall
